Mother’s Day Out

Purpose

The purpose of Franklin Christian Church and its Mother’s Day Out program is to connect children and their families to Jesus Christ through the nurturing of their spiritual, emotional, social, cognitive, and physical growth.

Program Schedule

Mother’s Day Out operates on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Classes begin Tuesday, September 7th for the 2010-11 school year. We follow the Williamson County Schools schedule for holidays and weather related closings.

Classrooms

We have seven available classes:

  • Nursery (12 to 24 months)
  • Toddler 1 (2 to 2 ½ years)
  • Toddler 2 (2 ½ to 3 years)
  • Preschool 1 & 2 (3-4 years)
  • Pre-K 1 & 2 (4-5 years)

Curriculum

All classes including Nursery follow a curriculum appropriate to their age level. Each class attends their own music class on Tuesdays, and there are three chapel times on Thursdays for Nursery, Toddlers, and Preschool/Pre-K.

Each class with the exception of the nursery has two teachers who follow a team teaching philosophy. The nursery has three care-givers.

Tuition

Tuition for the 2010-11 school year is $150 per month for the first child; $130 per month for the second, and $120 for the third or more children. There is a $50 registration fee which secures placement in a class. Registration fees are not deposited until placement is secured. However, once your child has a reserved space at FCC MDO, registration fees become non-refundable. There is also a $50 supply fee which made be made in two payments of $25 in August and December. This covers snacks, supplies, crafts, tote bag and t-shirt.

Current students of FCC MDO will register through January 29th. Open enrollment begins February 1st, 2010.
