Preschool-Kindergarten

We offer two very different learning formats for our children ages 3 1/2 through Kindergarten. During the 9:15 a.m. service, we offer an age appropriate worship service (Children’s Worship).   This worship time includes music, prayer, bible lesson, scripture memory, life application lesson, and offering time.

The second service at 10:45 offers preschool children a small group setting with same aged peers.  Bible lessons are taught by a variety of interactive methods and the scriptures are reinforced by an application lesson presented through the puppets Dee, Cy, Paul and Chip!  The DiscipleLand curriculum is used in these small groups.  The goal of DiscipleLand is to raise up a new generation of followers of Christ who understand God’s Word and can share Christ with the world. DiscipleLand also has a strong emphasis on prayer and missions. Beginner Life!Group ages 3^1/2 to 4

During the 9:15 am service, we offer a small group time for our Beginners ages 3 1/2 to 4 year olds called “Disciple Time”led by Dennis and Yvonne Nolte and Travis and Chris Copley. DiscipleLand is our base curriculum. DiscipleLand seeks to teach the whole Word of God by taking children through complete sections of God’s Word in a four year cycle. It uses state-of-the-art graphics and paintings that give realistic illustrations rather than cartoon-like renditions. It gives solid teaching that will help children become more mature in the Christian faith.

Preschool LifeGroup – Ages 4 to 5

During the 9:15 service (second hour) our 4-5 year olds are in small group format.   Children with last names A-F meet in room W103B.  And children with last names G-Z meet in room W106.  They will participate in bible curriculum called DiscipleLand Preschool. It is a child-centered, application-based study that guides children to discover a friendship with Jesus and introduces them to God’s wonderful character and his plans. We will learn together how God Loves Us through songs, Bible verses, learning activities, present day stories and prayer. We are currently studying Samuel in the Old Testament. Children will discover that God has a mission for them as He did the child Samuel. We use puppets named Dee, Cy, Paul (and their loveable dog named Chip) as role models demonstrating how to be Jesus’ disciples. These puppets will follow the children through the elementary years and will continue to inspire them for years to come!
