Mothers Day Out

Purpose

The purpose of Franklin Christian Church and its Mother’s Day Out program is to connect children and their families to Jesus Christ through the nurturing of their spiritual, emotional, social, cognitive, and physical growth.

Program Schedule 2012-13

Franklin Christian Church Mother’s Day Out will have two options for the 2012-13 school year – Tuesday/Thursday or Monday/Wednesday.  Each program will operate from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. and follow Williamson County Schools schedule with regard to holidays and weather related closings.  The FCC MDO school year begins Wednesday, August 29 and Thursday, August 30.

We are currently accepting registrations for the 2012-13 school year.  Preference will be given to current children and their siblings before we will place new families.

Curriculum

FCC MDO follows a themed curriculum that is structured and leveled according to age.  The goal of FCC MDO is to prepare children for a successful elementary school experience.  FCC MDO provides music, Spanish and chapel as part of the curriculum.  Each class has its own music and Spanish class while chapel is divided into three levels:  Nursery, Toddler 1, and Toddler 2/Preschool/Pre-K.

FCC MDO follows a team teaching philosophy with two lead teachers in each class of twelve.  The nursery has three caregivers for twelve children.

The program is divided into seven levels:

  • Nursery (12 to 24 months)
  • Toddler 1 (2 to 2 ½ years)
  • Toddler 2 (2 ½ to 3 years)
  • Preschool (3-4 years)
  • Pre-K (4-5 years)

Tuition

Tuition for the 2012-13 school year is $160 per month for the first child; $140 for the second, and $110 for the third.  There will be a $100 registration/supply fee (non-refundable) which secures placement at FCC MDO.  Registration/Supply fee is due with application.  It will not be deposited, however, unless placement is confirmed by FCC MDO.  Once deposited the fee is non-refundable.

Waiting lists are available; however, we must have a completed application in order to add you to the waiting list.
